Jordan Montgomery, nicknamed 'Gumby' or 'Monty', is an American professional baseball pitcher born on December 27, 1992. He currently plays for the Arizona Diamondbacks in Major League Baseball (MLB) after previous stints with the New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, and Texas Rangers. Montgomery played college baseball at the University of South Carolina and was selected by the Yankees in the 2014 MLB draft, making his debut in 2017. He won his first championship in the 2023 World Series with the Texas Rangers.
