Born on April 7, 1989, in Echo Bay, Ontario, he was drafted by the BC Lions in 2012. He signed with the Montreal Alouettes in 2013 after playing for the Calgary Dinos and the Waterloo Warriors. Verdone played for the Ottawa Redblacks in his final CFL season. He contributed to the sport for four seasons at a professional level.
