Jordanis (Danis) Simeon Tzamtzis is a Greek politician from the New Democracy party, born in 1961 in Trebolts, Greece. He studied political science and public administration at the University of Athens. He joined the youth structures of New Democracy in 1977, and became the youngest mayor in Greece at age 28 in November 1989. Tzamtzis was re-elected as mayor in 1990 and 1994, served as a nomarch from 1988 to 1989, and was elected as a deputy in Pella in 2000, 2004, 2007, and June 2012.
