Jorge Néstor Águila was an Argentine sailor born on March 6, 1962, in Paso Aguerre, Neuquén. He was a member of the Argentine Navy's Marine Infantry and died in combat during the Operation Georgias on April 3, 1982, while the islands of South Georgia were occupied during the Falklands War. He was among the first Argentine casualties in this conflict and notably the first from Neuquén to fall in the South Atlantic Conflict.
