Jorge Anders is an Argentine jazz musician, bandleader, and arranger, born on April 18, 1939, in Buenos Aires. Originally named Jorge Etzensberger, he studied classical clarinet under Eliseo Rosas and taught himself saxophone. In 1956, he formed his own trio and quartet and has performed with artists like Rodolfo Alchourron. Since moving to New York City in 1979, he has arranged for notable orchestras and was a soloist in the Duke Ellington Orchestra. He has also led his own big band since 1985 and released an album with Jazz Workshop.
