Jorge de Cárdenas Plá is a Cuban former Olympic sailor, born on January 2, 1933, in Havana, Cuba. He competed in the Finn and Star classes across three Olympic Games: in 1952, he placed 24th in the Finn class, in 1956 he finished 6th in the Star class while crewing for his father, and in 1960, he ranked 13th in the Star class with his brother. He is also recognized for winning a silver medal at the 1955 Star World Championships and a bronze at the 1956 edition.
