Ordained in 1965, he became a pioneer of the Missionaries of the Holy Apostles in Brazil. He served various parishes, focusing on community service, and was a known advocate for participation of laypeople in church activities. He celebrated his 50th anniversary of ordination in 2015 but struggled with health issues later, including Alzheimer's, and passed away on November 13, 2020.
