Jørgen Christensen is a Danish politician born on December 22, 1949. He served as the governor of Frederiksborg County from November 27, 2001, to December 31, 2006, initially elected for the Venstre party. He left Venstre in 2009 and joined the Liberal Alliance in January 2010. Alongside his political career, Christensen ran his own dance school for many years. After his term as county governor, he became a member of the Capital Region of Denmark, where he held positions on the business committee and chaired the Growth Forum for the region.
