Jørgen Nielsen is a Danish bassist and photojournalist born on March 29, 1951, in Gram. He began playing the bass guitar in 1969 and debuted with the band Mainroad in 1970. He formed the jazz, blues, and rock band Kims Bacon in 1972, which is still active. He has been involved in various musical projects, including Bourbon Street Jazzband and River Band, while also working as a journalist. In 2008, he published a book on the music history of Aarhus. He is also an active photographer and radio host.
