Jorma Pohjanpalo (1905–1991) was a Finnish doctor of commerce, professor, and non-fiction writer. He had a long career in foreign trade, notably working in Australia, and significantly contributed to the organization of the Finnish plastics industry. He was awarded the title of professor in 1972. Pohjanpalo held various roles including secretary for the Finnish consulate in Sydney and was active in educational and industry organizations. He published extensively on maritime and plastics subjects and received a state prize for information dissemination in 1969.
