He made his debut with the book 'Det lyner' in 1987, and ten years later, he received the Skriverprisen for his easy-to-read books. In 2013, Jensen was awarded the Orla-prisen for 'Hvor er Laura?'. By 2020, he had written over 200 books, and several of his works have been translated into Norwegian, including the series 'Kaldt blod'.
