J.M.J. (Jos) Verbeeten is a retired Dutch politician from the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA). He served as the mayor of Sint Anthonis from 1998 until 2009. Before that, Verbeeten was a municipal councilor and later an alderman in Wijchen. He also held the position of mayor in Ootmarsum from 1991 to 1997. After announcing his retirement as mayor in 2009, he wished to remain active in community service, specifically in his role as conductor of the local church choir and head of the St. Antoniusgilde.
