Jos Zalokar is a Slovenian television presenter, actor, politician, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, born on March 10, 1949, in Ljubljana. He is best known for hosting and acting in the cult youth program Periskop from 1985 to 1991 and Potepanja from 2003 to 2006. Zalokar founded one of the first private advertising companies in the former Yugoslavia in 1985. He has unsuccessfully run for political office multiple times with the Slovenian National Party. A former rugby player, he was president of Rugby Union Slovenia until 2014 and is a godfather to seven abandoned children.
