José Ángel Abad is a Spanish journalist born on March 19, 1971, in Gijón. He began his professional career as a freelance journalist in Yugoslavia in 1993. The following year, he joined the television network Antena 3 in Madrid. In 1998, he became the correspondent for Antena 3 in Galicia and Asturias. He was appointed as the correspondent for Antena 3 in London in 1999, and since 2003, he has been the correspondent for Antena 3 in New York, where he currently resides.
