José Angel Torres Sáenz was a Spanish paleontologist and geologist born on January 30, 1959, in Donostia. He was a member of the Geology Department of the Aranzadi Science Society. Torres Sáenz collaborated with educator Klara Isabel Gutierrez to establish three geological museums or exhibitions: the Oiartzun Geological Learning Center (Luberri), Igea, and Mutriku. He made significant contributions to the field of geology through his work in education and exhibitions until his passing on December 1, 2020.
