José Faria (1933 - 2013) was a Brazilian football coach known for his significant contributions to Moroccan football. He trained several teams, most notably Al-Sadd and Royal Army, while also coaching the Moroccan national team. He achieved notable success by leading Morocco to the 1986 FIFA World Cup, making them the first Arab and African team to reach the knockout stage. He also made history with Royal Army by winning the Africa Champions League in 1985, the first Moroccan club to achieve this.
