José Miguel García Meseguer is a former field hockey player born on September 28, 1952, in Zaragoza, Aragón. He is recognized as a pioneer of the sport in Aragón. His first team was CDE El Salvador de Zaragoza, after which he played for Reial Club de Polo de Barcelona. García was also part of the Spanish national team, participating in the 1980 Moscow Olympics where he won a silver medal and secured an Olympic diploma (8th place) at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
