José Gregorio Guevara Martínez was a Venezuelan politician and member of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV). He served as the mayor of the Achaguas municipality in Apure state from 2013 to 2017 and was re-elected for the term from 2017 to 2021. Unfortunately, he passed away on August 29, 2020, due to COVID-19 before completing his term. He was also known by the nickname Goyo.
