José Ignacio Ansorena Miner, also known as Mixki, Mirri, and Piter, is a Basque txistu player, clown, and showman born in Donostia on October 21, 1953. He was born into a family with a strong passion for Basque music and learned from his grandfather, a renowned txistu teacher. He studied at the Donostia Conservatory and completed a degree in Philosophy and Literature focused on Romance Philology. Additionally, he taught Language, Literature, and Dramatic Arts at the Manuel de Larramendi school for nine years.
