José Manuel Echeverría Salaverría, known as Echeverría, is a former Spanish footballer born on March 17, 1952, in Goizueta, Navarra. He played as a central forward for Club Atlético Osasuna throughout his career, playing 178 matches in La Liga and scoring 36 goals. He was part of a notable attacking trio alongside Patxi Iriguibel and Martín Monreal, all of whom ended their careers at Osasuna with the same total goals in La Liga. As of November 2022, he is the second player with the most official matches played in Osasuna's history.
