José Manuel Feito (1934-2020) was a Spanish ethnologist and researcher specialized in pottery and ceramics, as well as folklore, craftsmanship, and literature in Asturias. He served as a parish priest in Miranda de Avilés, where he collected a significant legacy in his black ceramics museum, resulting from his archaeological work. He authored several monographs on Asturian ceramics, focusing on various local potter communities and the role of women in production and distribution. Feito was also a member of the Real Instituto de Estudios Asturianos (RIDEA).
