José Manuel Giménez Amaya is a Spanish physician, neuroscientist, and philosopher born in Madrid on June 18, 1958. He served as a professor of Anatomy and Embryology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Madrid from 2002 to 2010 and is currently an ordinary professor of Science, Reason, and Faith at the University of Navarra since 2012. He was ordained a priest in Rome on May 14, 2011, by Bishop Javier Echevarría Rodríguez at the Basilica of Sant’Eugenio in Valle Giulia.
