José Roberto Arantes de Almeida was a Brazilian individual born on February 7, 1943, in Pirajuí and killed at the age of 28 on November 4, 1971, in São Paulo. He was also known by the names Luiz and Deo. His girlfriend, Aurora Maria Nascimento Furtado, known as Lola, was also a victim of military repression, being imprisoned and tortured to death in 1972. Their case is part of the extensive list of deaths and disappearances during the Brazilian military dictatorship, investigated by the Truth Commission.
