José Francisco Soares Sperotto is a Brazilian architect and politician born on December 12, 1953, in Guaíba. He is affiliated with the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB). In 2016, he was elected mayor of Guaíba, winning with 28,434 votes, representing 55.69% of valid votes among four candidates. Previously, he was a member of the Liberal Front Party (PFL) during the 1990s and 2000s and ran for state deputy in the 2002 elections, serving later as an alternate member in the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Sul in 2005.
