Josef Franz Leppa was a Sudeten German writer, journalist, and military historian, born in 1901 in Böhmisch Budweis and died in 1980 near Eichstätt. He published extensively under the pseudonym Konrad Leppa, focusing on World War I and early 20th-century military history. After earning his doctorate in philosophy in 1926, he became a lecturer and contributed to military journals. Following World War II, Leppa fled to Bavaria during the expulsion of Germans from Czechoslovakia.
