Josef Janda (May 8, 1950 - September 2021) was a Czech surrealist poet, essayist, collage artist, and exhibition organizer. He trained as a mechanical technology specialist and became involved with the surrealist group in 1984. Emerging from the musical underground of the 1970s, he once played keyboards for the band Jasná páka. In the 1980s, he helped organize exhibitions for surrealist friends in Prague. In the 1990s, he collaborated with Welsh poets and organized a surrealist group exhibition in Swansea. He published several poetry collections underground during normalization and later in various publishers and magazines.
