Josef Krysta is a former Czechoslovak Greco-Roman wrestler born on October 24, 1956, in Český Těšín. He competed in the Olympics in 1976 and 1980, finishing 8th and 6th respectively in the 57 kg category. Krysta secured a silver medal at the 1981 World Championships and earned multiple medals at European Championships. A six-time Czechoslovak champion, he currently serves as the general director of BPA and was a leader in the 2020 regional elections for the Volba pro kraj movement in Moravskoslezský kraj.
