Josef Mundigl is a German clergyman born on July 22, 1929, in Hubenstein. One of eight children, he entered seminary at age 13 and later studied theology. He was ordained as a priest on June 29, 1957, and served as city pastor and district dean in Erding from 1969 to 1999. Since 1999, he has been a pastor in the parish of Hl. Blut in Landshut. In 2009, he served as a chaplain for the National Winter Games of the Special Olympics, and holds the titles of Geistlicher Rat and Päpstlicher Ehrenprälat.
