With her sister Teresa and Enriqueta Sèculi, she co-founded the first exclusively female sports institution in Catalonia, the Club Femení d'Esports, where she coached swimming and gymnastics. A notable athlete, she set national records and was a champion swimmer, gaining considerable media attention for her victories.
