Growing up in La Seu d'Urgell, he began writing at twelve, inspired by themes of shipwrecks and early love. He has contributed to the recovery of Catalan culture post-Franco and has written for children's magazines. His works have been translated into multiple languages, and he received the 2013 Premi Trajectòria.
