Josep Llop i Bonal (1910-1991) was a Catalan ex-libris promoter, autodidact, and collector based in El Masnou. He amassed a collection of 12,000 ex-libris and wrote an unpublished manual for collectors. His interest in ex-libris began in 1941, leading to collaborations with notable artists. Llop organized two exhibitions in the late 1940s and contributed to the Barcelona Ex-libris Association. He co-authored a bibliography on the subject in 1958.
