Joseph Alexander McChristian (October 12, 1914 - May 13, 2005) was a Major General in the United States Army. A West Point graduate, he served in various capacities including as commander of the 2nd Armored Division and Head of G2 Military Intelligence for the 3rd Army under General Patton during WWII. He was involved in military operations in Vietnam and authored a book on military intelligence. McChristian was instrumental in reforming army intelligence services and establishing the Army Intelligence Center before his retirement in 1971.
