Joshna Chinappa is an Indian professional squash player born on September 15, 1986, in Chennai. She achieved her highest world ranking of 10 in July 2016 and became the first Indian to win the British Squash Championship in the under-19 category in 2003. She was also the youngest Indian woman to be the national squash champion. In the 2014 Commonwealth Games, she won a gold medal in women's doubles with Dipika Pallikal Karthik, marking India's first medal in squash at the Commonwealth Games. They later secured a silver medal at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
