Joshua Russell Chandran (1918–2000) was an influential Indian Christian theologian known for his leadership roles in theological education and ecumenical dialogue. He served as the President of the Senate of Serampore College from 1970 to 1971 and held the presidency of the United Theological College in Bangalore from 1954 to 1983. Additionally, he played a significant role in the World Council of Churches as vice-chairman from 1966 to 1968, contributing to the interdenominational Christian community.
