He was notably a member of the famous band TPOK Jazz, where he collaborated with the legendary Franco during the group's most successful era from the mid-1960s to the late 1980s. Kiambukuta's contributions to music have made him a significant figure in the Congolese music scene until his passing on March 7, 2021.
