Jostein Nielsen is a Norwegian Colonel in The Salvation Army. Since the summer of 2015, he and his wife have been part of the leadership team for The Salvation Army's Eastern European territory, covering Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia. He took on the role of territorial leader on January 1, 2018. In fall 2020, he and his wife were ordered back to service in Norway.
