Josu Landa Ijurko is a Basque writer and journalist, born on December 9, 1960, in Altza, Gipuzkoa. He has published a novel and several poetry works. Landa was one of the founders of the Susa magazine and publishing house and has worked as an editor. In 1980, he participated in the revival of the Argia magazine and was a key figure in the creation and promotion of Euskaldunon Egunkaria, the Basque-language newspaper. He has written various literary pieces and has also been involved in translation work.
