Jouko Kalevi Esaias Pirhonen was a Finnish rear admiral (vara-amiraali) who served as the commander of the Finnish Navy from 1966 to 1974. During World War II, he commanded motor torpedo boats and was awarded the Mannerheim Cross in 1943. He is recognized as the last Mannerheim Cross knight who served in the Finnish Defense Forces. His leadership was highly regarded, having successfully led naval operations against enemy targets without incurring casualties.
