Jovana Preković is a former Serbian karateka born on January 20, 1996, in Aranđelovac. She won a gold medal in kumite at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics in the under-61 kg category and is a two-time world champion and two-time European champion. She also served as the flag bearer for Serbia during the closing ceremony of the Olympics. Preković retired from competitive sports in 2022 and is an army officer, involved with the Sports Unit of Serbia's Ministry of Defense. Her sister, Jelena Preković, is also a karateka.
