Jovica Elezović is a retired Yugoslav handball player born on March 2, 1956, in Vrbas. He participated in the 1980 and 1984 Summer Olympics, securing a sixth-place finish in Moscow and an Olympic gold medal in Los Angeles. Throughout his career, he played 123 matches for the Yugoslav national team and scored 388 goals. He had a successful club career, playing for various Yugoslav teams and later in Germany. After retiring in 1991, Elezović became a coach, leading several teams to success, including Partizan.
