Joy Holmes Harris is a former American basketball player, born on March 31, 1969. She had a remarkable high school career at Mansfield Senior High School, holding a scoring record of 1259 points. At Purdue University, she contributed to the team reaching the 1988 National Women's Invitational Tournament finals and the 1990 NCAA regionals. As a Big Ten Athlete of the Year in 1991, she set a Purdue record with 1747 points. After playing professionally in Japan and the U.S., she transitioned to coaching and was inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
