Joyce Anderson (1923-2014) was a pioneering American furniture designer and woodworker. Together with her husband Edgar M. Anderson, she contributed to the American Craft movement, particularly in New Jersey. Joyce was one of the first professional female woodworkers in the U.S., playing a significant role in the field during a time when it was predominantly male. Her collaborative works in wood continue to be celebrated for their craftsmanship and artistry.
