Józef Florko was a Polish Catholic priest and a Servant of God of the Catholic Church, born on May 8, 1915, in Winniki near Lwów. He joined the Congregation of Missionaries in 1931 and was ordained a priest in 1939. Florko served in pastoral and missionary work in Kraków and later in Warsaw from 1943. He was arrested in 1944, sent to concentration camps, and ultimately died during the evacuation of Bergen-Belsen in 1945. His beatification process began on September 17, 2003, as part of a group of martyrs from World War II.
