Jr Eric, born Erik Alexandersson on December 28, 1982, was a Swedish reggae artist and drummer from Gothenburg. He gained popularity in the mid-2000s with the hit 'Reggaeprofil'. He was known for organizing reggae events and parties, including the annual Bob Marley Celebration in Gothenburg. In his later years, he lived in Thailand, where he was involved in the restaurant business. His life was tragically cut short due to a moped accident in January 2009. Posthumously, he was honored by many reggae artists and his music continued to be celebrated.
