Juan Manuel Almeida Morgado, known as N33, was a Venezuelan cybercriminal affiliated with chavismo and the former minister Tareck el Aissami. He was involved in the loss of state-owned crypto assets and was arrested in 2023 for hacking social media accounts of journalists and leaking sensitive audio. Almeida was accused in the PDVSA-Cripto case and died while under house arrest. His death marked him as the second individual arrested for corruption to die in state custody in Venezuela.
