Juan Elias Garcia is a Salvadoran-American fugitive listed among the FBI's Ten Most Wanted for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Argueta, and the attempted murder of her two-year-old son in 2010. Garcia, affiliated with the MS-13 gang, allowed gang members to shoot the child as he sought help. He was convicted of these crimes in March 2013 and sentenced to life in prison, following his surrender shortly after being placed on the wanted list on March 26, 2014.
