She began her career as a model at the famous Tropicana nightclub in Havana in 1957 under the direction of Rodney, her discoverer. As a leading performer, she toured extensively, becoming a well-recognized vedette in Cuba, Mexico, Canada, South America, Central America, Europe, Japan, and the United States. She later retired to focus on astrology.
