Junji Miyahara is a Japanese engineer, technologist, and management scholar, born on April 9, 1942, in Shizuoka Prefecture. He served as a professor at Tokyo University of Science and as the head of the Innovation Research Center at Hitotsubashi University. Miyahara held significant roles at Fujifilm, where he invented the radiation image sensor 'Imaging Plate' and was instrumental in developing the world's first medical digital X-ray diagnostic system. Later, he shifted his focus to research in innovation and founded the Innovation Factor Research Group in 2010.
