Junko Sawamatsu is a retired Japanese tennis player born on April 10, 1948. She participated in singles events at the French Open twice and the U.S. Open once. With her sister Kazuko Sawamatsu, she achieved quarterfinal success in ladies doubles at Wimbledon in 1970, where they faced eventual champions Rosie Casals and Billie Jean King. Additionally, she represented Japan in the Federation Cup during 1970 and 1971. Junko is also recognized as the mother of professional tennis player Naoko Sawamatsu.
