Jürg Oleas is a Swiss engineer born on December 8, 1957, in Quito. He studied mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich, specializing in legal studies, and graduated in 1981. Oleas began his career at ABB as a development engineer before moving to Alstom Power. In 2001, he joined mg technologies AG, now known as GEA Group, where he became CEO in 2004. He announced his intention to leave GEA in 2019 and later became the chairman of Hochdorf Holding AG in mid-2020.
